Wind-blown yard debris after a rough winter
The Challenge
That winter in Brighton Station hit hard. We got a call from a homeowner near Veterans Park who had a bin overflowing with ветter-branched yard waste and broken trim from a day of gusts off the nearby hills. The street smelled like wet cedar, and the driveway had debris tracking across the concrete. In this neighborhood, those low-pitch Ranch roofs and older gutters don’t leave much room for a messy pile to sit. The customer needed the mess gone before it kept spreading and turning the front yard into a problem the whole block could see.
The Result
We rolled in with a 20-yard dumpster, set it where the truck could grab it cleanly, and coached the homeowner on separating heavier wood from loose brush so the load packed right. Our crew kept the area tight because Brighton Station drives don’t leave much extra shoulder room, and we’d learned that lesson after years hauling through Brentwood’s windy stretches. Once we hauled it, the yard opened back up, the driveway cleared, and the customer got back to normal without a second trip to the transfer site.
Rami’s crew made the whole mess disappear, and I finally got my driveway back.
